Stephen A Smith told Serena Williams husband to divorce her after her appearance during the Super Bowl halftime show.
Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian and the tennis superstar have been married since 2017.
Williams recently made headlines for appearing to diss her ex, Drake, by participating in Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show while he performed his hit, ‘Not Like Us’ which specifically has lyrics such as ‘Say, Drake, I hear you like ’em young’ and ‘Tryna strike a chord and it’s probably A minor’.
The moment Williams appeared on our screens instantly went viral due to her past connection to Drake – the pair were rumoured to be dating in the 2010s.
ESPN’s Smith has shared his thoughts on this: “If I’m married and my wife is going to join trolling her ex, go back to his a–, ‘cause clearly you don’t belong with me,”, “What you worried about him for and you’re with me? Bye. Bye.”
Despite the criticisms, Ohanian seemed very supportive of his wife. Taking to social media, he wrote: “Pretty fantastic halftime show. Some of y’all have no idea how criticized Serena was for this same dance at Wimbledon 13 years ago and it shows…. This is bigger than the music,”
